Structure of the Forum
The Forum is established as an international network of individual citizens and civil society organizations with global, regional and national chapters. The national chapters are developed through representation and guidance of the local chapters; national representatives from the regional and global chapters. The Forum ensures functional linkages between and among chapters of all levels to share their opinions directly. Local chapters create the foundation of this movement; it is the local society members that are the fundamental agents of change to bring about desired policy reform needed to achieve the sustainable development goals. A chapter at any level has a committee of 25 core members including one convener, one member secretary and 23 executive members. Moreover, there are thematic committees with 10 members each; these thematic committees constitute the central scopes of the Sustainable Development Goals. It is anticipated that the Forum will have a global committee, seven regional committees, and national committees for all countries.
